I chose "Shadesbasement" as my username awhile back because most of the time I like my room dark with the light coming from my the hallway (from my door being open or barely open). The "basement" was because usually Basements are dark (I don't really have a basement though, well not the one I actually never been down in). Shade is just another word for shadow and over the years, black has become my favorite color (or the main color I go to).

One more thing: I did not choose my username because of a certain problematic nsfw artist... i was never really into the grossly weird shit that guy made :/

if I ever get to actually posting on this site, I think wanna of the things I wanna start drawing is some cookie run (because I like cute things) probably of one ship (Dark cocoa x Sea fairy cuz' I'm weird like that)

I don't know if the cookie run fandom on here is toxic as shit like tumblr and twi(shit)ter but I rather post in freedom than be restricted because of fear of pissing dumb people off, and there there just fucking cookie so eh...

So I created a newgrounds account, I'll try to post art here but if I don't post for a long time, it's because I'm sometimes demotivated.

I also like to look into making music and I might make a beginner album but that's for when I have enough motivation.
